Girls Gone Wild?
In one of my earlier blogs I had written about the governor who stepped down from office because of his involvement with a prostitution ring. The former governor, Eliot Spitzer, was caught with high-priced call girl "Kristen" and then asked to resign from his position.
According to CNN.com, Ashley Alexandra Dupre, or "Kristen," is now suing the founder of "Girls Gone Wild" for more than $10 million. Dupre, while vacationing in Miami, Florida, was allegedly persuaded into showing her breasts for the GGW cameras. According to Dupre, she was only 17 years old and was not old enough to sign the consent form.
"In March, Francis was negotiating to pay Dupre $1 million to appear in the "Girls Gone Wild" magazine and on the company's touring bus. The deal fell through when Francis found he already owned video footage of Dupre," said CNN.com.
Apparently Dupre is upset she will no longer receive the $1 million from the company, but is $10 million really a necessary move on her part? Dupre has made a name for herself as a call girl, and she clearly intends to make a living this way, but I find it absolutely ridiculous she is able to make this much money over something of this nature.
"But I think it's ironic that she charged Gov. Spitzer $2,000 for sex and she wants to charge me 10 million for taking some naked pictures of her," Francis told CNN. "I feel like I'm getting a raw deal."
